At Inversiones Eterna Primavera we have a passion for exotic ornamental flowers. We specialize in the growth of Proteas, a flower native to South Africa and Australia. Currently we grow three different types of Proteas: Safari Sunset, Gold Strike and Galpini Silver Cone. We pride ourselves in being the only flower farm in Central America to have grown and export these types of Proteas. Every day we strive to deliver the best quality in all our products.
OUR STORY A family business at its core, Oligar S.A. was founded on May 31, 2011 in Guatemala, Central America by two brothers. However, it wasn't until July of 2014 that the Protea production project began. In 2015 it was given its commercial name "Inversiones Eterna Primavera", Eternal Spring Investments in Spanish.
At Inversiones Eterna Primavera we are proud to say that we are pioneers in the growth and distribution of this type of flower. Currently we are the exclusive producers of Safaris Sunset, Gold Strike, Galpini Silver Cone, and Pincushions in Central America with approximately 8 hectares of this unique and exclusive crop as the Proteas.
The plantation is found in Pueblo Viejo, Parramos Chimaltenango (about an hour from Guatemala City and 20 minutes from Antigua Guatemala) located over 1,700 meters over sea level.
In November of 2016, Inversiones Eterna Primavera became the first Guatemalan business to produce, export and promote the economy through cut Protea ornamental flowers.
Our farms are located in the central part of Guatemala, a country known to be the Land of Eternal Spring. Guatemala is rich in microclimates and fertile soils with the perfect conditions for high quality floral production. Guatemala’s central geographic location gives us the advantage of making immediate delivery, lengthening the durability of flowers. We are able to distribute about two million stems anywhere in the world, either by air or by sea. We always ensure ourselves to provide the needs and requirements of each customer.
